Our History
Jade lee Electric was founded in 1981 as a contracting company.
After 11 years in the contracting sector, the directors decided to lay down their tools
and open an electrical distribution outlet.
Hence, in 1992, the new star, “Jade Lee Electrical Wholesalers” was born on Gallagher Road in Midrand.
The new, modest 250m2 premises with an 8 staff compliment began trading with 1 delivery vehicle and a serious advantage in the Electrical sector:
The market place favorably received our strategies and core values. The company grew from strength to strength. Through no other medium but word of mouth, our client base grew year by year. Trust was gained and long standing partnerships developed with Electrical sector leaders. (Testimonials available on request)
Today, our 1500m2 warehouse boasts a staff compliment of 40 with 6 delivery vehicles.
We will continually strive to meet our clients’ requirements in the dynamic Electrical Market Sector.
Our Mission
Being installers, our qualified and knowledgeable staff have had 11 years of firsthand
experience dealing with dozens of Electrical suppliers.
This experience made it simple for us to identify common shortfalls in the industry and we implemented strategies to iron out potentially frustrating issues for our new clients. We came to realize that it was not simply about supplying a product. Building relationships and trust between our staff and clients has proven to be successful in providing excellent service.
We concentrated on the following areas to offer a better “One Stop Shop” service to our clients:
1. Product knowledge: Ability to use our knowledge to advise our clients which
products to use for their specific installations. Having the expertise to explain
product attributes and how to install such products.
2. Stock Holding: Identify and ensure constant availability of “Bread and Butter”
product lines on our shelves.
3. Customer Care and Problem Solving: Letting the client know he is number one
by means of a helpful, friendly, approachable and enthusiastic attitude.
4. Staff Management: We manage our staff morale throughout the year. They are
recognized and rewarded for their contributions, integrity and open book policy.
5. Quality: We only stock SABS quality approved products from reputable importers
and manufacturers with the infrastructure to implement after sales service and
warranty claims should the need arise. We are proud to say that the majority of
our customers are BEE compliant companies
6. Business Partnership with our clients: We view our clients as indispensable
partners in our business. They must have the peace of mind to be able to predict
the same, secure service each and every time they have dealings with us.
Knowing the price they pay will be competitive and our delivery promises will be
met.
7. Teamwork: We implement efficient systems and encourage teamwork. We work

8. Adaptability and Flexibility: We realize that in the ever changing environment,
there will constantly be new challenges which will arise. We need to identify
